How might a mobile app teach college students time management?

Timely is a single function mobile app that helps teach college students time management by organizing homework according to the estimated amount of time each task will take to complete. The goal for the user is to learn to complete homework throughout the day during their free time or between classes.

Timely is able to import the user’s class schedule from student information systems such as Workday and homework tasks from course management systems such as Canvas. The app utilizes this information and suggests homework tasks to be completed during free time throughout the day, depending on the assignments’ estimated completion time set by the user. The app organizes assignments by estimated completion time. The user can view assignments by day, week, or month. The app also has a timer the user can utilize while completing the homework task.
