GREENVILLE CONCERT BAND

How might design help an organization better reflect their standing and offerings?

The Greenville Concert Band is a non-profit volunteer symphonic band in Greenville, South Carolina. Through free concerts performed at various venues throughout the upstate, GCB provides entertainment for the public while allowing local musicians to persist in their practice. As an organization, GCB is devoted to furthering the legacy and appreciation of classic and traditional band music.


Recently, the Greenville Concert Band has grown in musical excellnece and professionalism and is ready to develop a visual identity that better reflects their standing and offerings. GCB has created a professional, yet personal and inviting approach to sharing the legacy of band music, inviting everyone to experience the timeless tradition of band music. The new visual identity is designed to reflect the musical excellence, approachability, and captivating experience of GCB’s concerts. A brand guidelines book has been created to guide the execution of the brand consistently and successfully.
